Jungle Gym recommends installing your climbing frame on an unpaved, steady surface such as grass or compact sand. Avoid placing it on hard surfaces like asphalt, or any similar materials, including carpet or artificial grass laid over hard surfaces. 
However, if the only option for you is a hard surface, not to worry! This can be transformed into a suitable ground surface by installing impact attenuation surfacing such as rubber tiling. Jungle Gym does not offer this in our collection but they can be found in most hardware stores. To keep your wooden climbing frame safe and looking its best, regular maintentance is key. Make sure to remove leaves, branches and dirt from the swings, play platform or other corners where debris can accumulate. If needed, you can also gently wash the playset with a pressure washer on a low setting to remove built-up grime.
